"Joe, is an amazing tutor. He knows everything there is about the CPA exam. He eats sleeps and breaths the exam. No matter where you are with your recent scores he knows exactly what you need to focus on. Before I started work, I passed BEC and REG on my own with only studying for about 2 weeks for each exam. The study plan and mentality I had for these exams totally became useless once I started work. While working and commuting my time was very limited, and I felt the way I studied for my last 2 exams, just by going through the recommended review course wasn't working, it was taking me too long and I was not retaining much of the information. Here is my story: I was able to pass REG and FAR from a first try and was feeling overconfident with the rest of the tests, but then I hit the wall with BEC and AUD. I took both parts multiple times and was scoring 74 on multiple attempts. I realized that my method of study would not take me any further, but did not know how to proceed.
I was very close to expiration of my previously passed tests and was ready to give up, but I came across CPATutors.com, read positive reviews and decided to give it a try. On the first meeting Joe evaluated my approach to test preparation and came up with personalized program of study, which helped me immediately. Just a quick background on my CPA exam journey: Started studying after graduation in 2015. I was able to pass FAR, AUD, and BEC on the first try. However, I failed REG 5 times with scores of 50, 68, 68, 67, and 67. I had one final attempt to pass or else I would essentially lose credit for both FAR and BEC, I got in touch with Joe about 3 weeks from my exam. There was very limited time but Joe gave me just enough mentoring and tutoring to pass with a 77. I highly recommend Joe with CPAtutors.com. Knowing the pass rates for the CPA exam, I contacted CPAtutors.com for guidance while studying for FAR. CPAtutors.com paired me with Joe who initially sent me study videos to give me an idea of what to expect of him as a tutor. His vast accounting knowledge was obvious in the videos, but was even more impressive in live conversation. He has the ability to take challenging topics and relate them to real world scenarios that can serve as memory aids, as wells as a stepping stone to truly understanding the underlying concepts.
